Hans Beyer is a partner in Dentons’ Frankfurt office and a member of the Corporate/ M&A and Restructuring practice groups. He advises German and international clients on all aspects of corporate and commercial law, including corporate and asset succession, and all aspects of restructuring and insolvency law. Hans focuses on advising national and international M&A transactions—on both the buy and sell sides—and on the restructuring and reorganization of corporate groups, including advising on complex carve-out transactions. In addition, he advises national and international companies, banks, bondholders and suppliers on out-of-court restructurings, on restructuring proceedings under the German Preventive Restructuring Act (StaRUG), as well as through structured self-administration proceedings, protective shield proceedings and insolvency plan proceedings. He also regularly advises investors and insolvency administrators on the sale and purchase of companies and assets outside of insolvency proceedings. Hans further supports management boards, managing directors and supervisory boards on ongoing compliance and liability issues, as well as in restructuring and insolvency situations. In addition to being an accomplished lawyer, Hans is also a certified business mediator and a professional trained banker and holds a specialization as an Executive Master of Business Administration, MBA (Mergers & Acquisitions).
