Wojciech Baranski specializes in distressed assets transactions with restructuring and bankruptcy law elements, litigation funding, financial transactions and M&A. He has extensive experience in providing advisory services to banks. In the law firm, Wojciech Barański is responsible for numerous transactions related to syndicated loans and issues of bonds. He also deals with particularly complicated procedures involving the enforcement of claims, and represents clients in restructuring and bankruptcy procedures. He represents clients in civil disputes in front of courts of all instances, including proceedings concerning the protection of personal rights and in class actions. From 2000 to 2005, Wojciech Barański acted as attorney-at-law in the Legal Department of the Headquarters of BGŻ S.A. Between 2004 and 2007, he also acted as the president and subsequently the liquidator in a capital fund. Wojciech Barański has conducted a series of workshops for the employees of commercial banks on the topic of securing loans, and has given foreign currency law training sessions for banks, the Ministry of Finance and other public administrative bodies. He has been a legal expert in front of the Sejm Committee for Administration and Internal Affairs. He has authored various publications in the field of banking law and bankruptcy law. A graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Maria Currie-Skłodowska in Lublin, and a legal advisor since 1999.
