Jose Ramon Berecibar Bio

In his role as secretary of the board of directors, Jose Ramón Berecibar advises the boards of directors of some of the most important companies (including listed companies) in the Basque Country on their decision making and on drafting important agreements. He is also an expert in all types of commercial transactions, including sales of shares, assets and liabilities; portfolio assignments and business restructurings; capital market transactions, including public offerings for the sale, subscription and acquisition of shares, corporate governance, block trades and share placement; as well as local and international financing transactions. Before joining Cuatrecasas, he was managing partner of GBP-Legal during eight years (2013-2021) and previously worked in other leading national and international law firms. He actively participates in training sessions and conferences at different forums and contributes to various legal publications.
