and access,
William A. Denmark has practiced for over 35 years in the following areas: real estate, business and corporate transactions, estate planning, non-profit associations, and multi-employer benefit funds. He also maintains a significant labor law practice stemming both from his representation of construction firms and from his representation of union benefit funds. Mr. Denmark assists his real estate clients in the sale, acquisition, development, leasing, and financing of a variety of properties, including office buildings, shopping centers, apartment buildings, condominiums, and warehouses. He also represents clients in the sale and acquisition of businesses of all types, including manufacturers, distributors, professional service companies and, most extensively, construction companies. Mr. Denmark prepares buy-sell agreements for company principals, employment agreements for key personnel, and provides estate and business succession planning services. In addition to his “for profit” real estate and corporate practice, Mr. Denmark regularly provides counsel to non-profit trade associations. He assists these organizations in their formation and governance and, in the case of contractor associations, negotiates collective bargaining agreements with labor unions. Mr. Denmark’s work with contractor associations has enabled him to serve as counsel to a variety of multi-employer benefit funds, assisting these funds in compliance with federal laws and regulations, including ERISA.
