Jim Freund Bio

Jim Freund is the Managing Partner of Physician Transaction Advisors. He has been a partner and principal at a number of outpatient healthcare focused firms including industry leading software, revenue cycle and advisory firms. He was a co-founder of Source Medical (now SIS) and has spent more than three decades working with healthcare leaders on a national basis along with more than 1,000 individual practices, surgery center and surgical hospitals. Jim has been named to Becker’s Healthcare “People to Know” list numerous times, recognized as a SurgiStrategies ASC Hall of Famer, and is a frequent speaker and author with industry organizations. Jim resides in Connecticut.
