Stefan is a managing director at Oaklins KBC Securities in Belgium. He has broad experience in sell-side, buy-side, merger, capital raising and advisory assignments in a variety of sectors for both large corporates and local family-owned companies. He also leads the HR & business services team. Transactions he has advised on include the sale of Lodewijckx to Van Beek Group, the sale of a minority stake in Drylock Technologies to Sofina and the sale of Sterima to the Pollet Medical Group. Stefan joined the firm in 2005 and was put in charge of the corporate finance team in 2016. After graduating with a master’s in applied economics and obtaining a degree in commercial engineering, he started his career in 1992 as an auditor at Coopers & Lybrand. In 1995, he joined KBC (formerly Kredietbank) as a business consultant at the head office, transferring to corporate banking in 1997 as a relationship manager.
