Tyler Miller brings 30 years of corporate finance, capital markets, and private wealth management experience to his engagements. Prior to co-founding NextGen in 2012, Mr. Miller was a transaction consultant for private equity and debt funds, family offices, and privately held businesses and, before that, a key member of the investment banking teams at New York based Kinetic Advisors and at California based McGladrey Capital Markets (the then investment banking arm of RSM McGladrey). His transaction and investment experience encompasses a wide range of engagements in energy, building products, entertainment, healthcare, consumer products, and general industry. Earlier in his career, Mr. Miller held positions at Wells Fargo Bank, where he structured and underwrote debt capital for middle-market leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations, and at Fidelity Investments, where he managed the unique portfolio needs of high net worth clients and helped grow the firm’s private wealth management business. Mr. Miller holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from Northeastern University, where he graduated summa cum laude, and a Master of Business Administration from UCLA Anderson. He also holds FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.
