Salman Ali Bio

Salman Ali is an assurance partner in Marcum’s Los Angeles office, responsible for leading the private equity & alternative investments practice for the western region. He has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry in the U.S. and the Cayman Islands. Salman’s audit experience encompasses private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, and Fintech companies audited under international and U.S. auditing standards. He is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients comprising primarily investment funds with a wide variety of strategies, sizes, and structures. He has served clients with various types of fund structures including onshore and offshore investment vehicles. Previously with another national accounting firm, he brings his vast experience in dealing with complex investment valuations to Marcum.
