Peter Chudyk Bio

Pete in his more than 4 decades of experience has helped clients navigate the complexities of an ever tax changing environment. He has helped clients for such diverse areas as mergers and acquisitions, succession and estate planning, as well as international tax planning. Pete oversees the International Services Group and the relationship with Nexia International, a global network of independent accounting and consulting firms from around the world. He is both a CPA and an attorney. His client roster spans a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, import/export, oil and gas, food, professional services and publishing. Pete has advised clients on accounting, business and tax issues. He has counseled many U.S. and foreign companies in structuring their domestic and international operations to minimize their overall tax burden, as well as assisted them in mergers, acquisitions, expatriate planning and incentive compensation. Pete also has expertise in evaluation and implementation of employee benefit packages and the design of ESOPs and other qualified and non-qualified retirement plans. He assists clients with international taxation and treaties as well as estate and succession planning, revenue ruling requests and tax free reorganizations. Pete has extensive experience in representation before the IRS. As the Tax Consultant for “The Ten-O’clock News” on WUAB Channel 43 for 10 years, Pete provided tax tips throughout the tax season and at other times during the year. He has the ability to take a complex tax topic and make it understandable and interesting. Pete is a graduate from John Carroll University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He received his law degree from Cleveland Marshall College of Law. Pete is listed in Who’s Who in American Business and is a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs, and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, including the tax sections of these associations.
