James Sprague Bio

James Sprague joined Maloney + Novotny LLC in 2017 as Principal and has more than 30 years of experience working in tax and consulting. Jim’s range of expertise includes succession planning, M&A forecasting, Partnership and LLC Taxation. Prior to joining Maloney + Novotny, Mr. Sprague was a Partner for many years with a regional accounting firm. Jim provides a full range of tax and consulting services to a variety of clients in many industries, including manufacturers and distributors, oil & gas, construction, real estate and trucking/transportation. Jim’s impressive background of tax and consulting enables him to bring leading-edge strategies to his clients. Jim is a graduate of Bowling Green State University. He is a Life Director of the North Coast Building Industries Association as well as Past President and Treasurer of The Elyria Country Club.
