Alex Weil Bio

Alex Weil is Managing Director and Co-Head of FinTech Investment Banking at Chardan. Alex’s focus is on advising companies on their most critical strategic imperatives. For over 20 years, he has been a leading investment banker and corporate development executive, advising on nearly $40 billion of closed M&A and other strategic advisory assignments. He has also been a principal, executive, board member, and advisor of multiple successfully closed de-spac transactions across several industries such as, clean energy, enterprise tech, and robotics. Prior to Chardan, Alex held leadership positions at Lazard, Citi, UBS, and GE Capital. He holds a B.S. in finance from University of Colorado, Boulder.
