John Walsh Bio

John Walsh is the Head of the Boston Multi-Family Office (MFO) of BBH, where he oversees a team of professionals who provide commercial lending, corporate advisory, private equity, and MFO services for business owners and ultra-high-net-worth clients. Prior to his current role, John joined the firm as an investment banker, advising owners of successful privately held companies on the sale of their businesses. He then joined the private equity business and spent six years as one of five Investment Principals overseeing the investment of a $377 million private equity fund. At the conclusion of this fund’s investment period, he joined the MFO division and has been the Boston Office Head for the last 12 years. John received a B.A. in economics and mathematics from Dartmouth College and is a CFA charterholder.
