John Lahti is a Managing Director and Head of Industrials at Artemis Transaction Advisors. He has nearly a quarter century of investment banking experience, advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, and private market financing transactions. John’s practice is focused on providing sound, independent advice to private business owners, families, and private equity firms. As Head of Industrials at Artemis, he serves companies in an array of subsectors, including Industrial Machinery and Equipment, Industrial Technology and Engineered Products, Metal Processing and Contract Manufacturing, as well as Industrial Distribution and Services. John has also closed numerous transactions outside of the Industrial sector, such as Food and Beverage, Consumer Products, and Healthcare. John is based in Artemis’ Chicago office and serves clients throughout the country. Prior to joining Artemis, he was a Managing Director for Stout, where he initiated and led the firm’s Dallas investment banking practice. John began his career on Wall Street and has extensive experience sourcing and closing global M&A transactions. John earned an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, where he was a James B. Angell Scholar.
