Frederic Steiner Bio

Frederic Steiner is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal's Transaction Advisory Group in Paris. With over 23 years of experience in transaction services engagements and audit assignments, he has completed over 150 due diligence projects on transactions ranging from €1 million to €5 billion enterprise value. Mr. Steiner works with both corporates and private equity clients. He has worked with large French corporations in various sectors including automotive, electrical equipment, technology, retail, and engineering services. Mr. Steiner has extensive cross-border transaction experience working in Belgium, Germany, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Russia, Spain, and the US. Additionally, he has worked with small to large cap private equity clients analyzing targets involved in a large range of industries such as manufacturing, chemicals/ingredients, retail, consumer goods, software and non-regulated financial services. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Steiner was a Transaction Services Partner with a Big Four firm in Paris, where he co-lead private equity efforts. He started his career in the audit department of another Big Four firm in Paris and New York before specializing in transaction services. Mr. Steiner earned an MBA from INSEAD and a master's degree in management from Neoma Business School. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Mr. Steiner speaks fluent French and English.
