James Horgan Bio

Jim provides accounting and financial advisory services to companies undergoing significant transition in turnarounds, restructurings and sale transactions. Jim advises a wide-range of stakeholders including companies, debt holders, trade creditors, investors, boards of directors and regulators. Jim also serves in interim financial management and controllership support roles. He provides assessments on accounting requirements, debt restructurings, liquidity/cash flow, operational improvements, business plan development and forensics/litigation. Jim was an accounting firm partner and director with experience in a Big Four accounting firm’s fresh-start reporting practice. He has testified as a financial expert in court proceedings on valuation, business plan projections and on distressed sale transactions. He is a CPA and Certified Turnaround Professional (Turnaround Management Association) and has served on the TMA NYC Chapter's Board of Directors and organized TMA NYC’s business mentoring events for struggling entrepreneurs.
